Youth camps

Summer Camp

Camp Epic Summer session runs for 10 weeks, starting the first week of June through the 2nd week of August.

Registration opens April 1st, at 10a.m. This includes both members and nonmembers. No early registration is available, so be sure to secure your spot, this camp will sell out. Financial aid is available to all eligible Grand Prairie residents. Application for financial aid opens February 1st.

Youth Camp 6-12, 5’s allowed with proof of completion of Kindergarten.

Camp Epic Holiday camps run during GPISD holiday school breaks. Camp Epic offers camps for fall and winters breaks.

      Drop off: 830am-900am

      Pickup: 4:00pm-430pm

      Before/After Care: 7:00am-8:30am, 4:30PM-6:00pm

You may cancel, cancellation fees may apply.

  • Camp fees are based on enrollment; days/weeks are not prorated, and full/partial participation is the same price.
  • The child must be either an Epic Youth Member or an Epic Family Member to receive the member discount.
  • Registration fee and Camp fee are due at registration, Auto Pay will process at 12 a.m.
  • To receive a refund/cancellation for a week of camp, the request must be made 7 days prior to the start of the registered week.
  • To cancel a week of camp, the request must be made by email to gpparddaycamp@gptx.org  .
  • There is a $25 cancellation fee per week/per camper
  • All registrations will be online.

    Registration Steps:

    1. Select the age group of your child or first child you would like to register. This will take you to an information page.  Click “Enroll Now” which will take you to a sign-in page unless you are already logged in.
    2. Login: IF YOU ARE A MEMBER, DO NOT CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT!   If you are a member or have participated in programs at The Epic, use the email you have on file with The Epic.  If you do not know what that email is, please see camp contacts at the bottom of this page or contact Guest Services at 972-339-3742.
    3. Password: You may reset your password if you do not know it. If it is not sent to your email, then contact us to make sure we have the right email on file.
    4. If you are not a member or have never done an activity at The Epic, please create a new account.
    5. Select the age group and then the weeks you would like to register your child for. Make sure to register for all the weeks you want otherwise if they become full you will be placed on a waiting list.
  • Age Groups:

    • Group 1: Age 6
    • Group 2: Ages 7-8
    • Group 3: Ages 9-10
    • Group 4: Ages 11-12
    • Group 5: Ages 13-15

    Important Notes:

    • Must be 6 by June 1st
    • 1:12 counselor ratio for safety
    • Groups may combine based on enrollment
    • Campers stay with age group all day
    • Friends in different groups? They’ll see each other at swim time!

Clear Backpack , resusuable, labeled water bottle, lunch/snacks, swim gear: including appropriate size and fit swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, change of clothes, goggles (optional)
