Epic Waters will be a “Cruise Ship on Land”

By | Epic Extras

“I can’t tell you how excited we are,” said Rick Coleman, Vice-President of American Resort Management (ARM) regarding his trip to Grand Prairie. ARM is the operating partner on Epic Waters indoor water park. Epic Waters General Manager Michael Hays says that calls are pouring in of people wanting more information, buying passes, and booking events. Coleman calls Epic Waters “A Cruise Ship on Land” offering a myriad of exciting experiences for all ages.

Note some of the exciting pictures as March 13, 2017. According to Lee Lewis Construction, Epic Waters indoor water park and The Epic, America’s ultimate recreation center, remain ON SCHEDULE and plans are still underway for a November 2017 opening.

Make sure you visit us at Main Street Fest 2017 with headliners Pat Green, Reckless Kelly, La Mafia and the Tejas Brothers. We will have loads of information about this “EPIC” legendary project!

Remember to join our sister website: EpicWatersGP.com and email Michael Hays at mhays@epicwatersgp.com for more information!

We leave you with this: IT’S GONNA BE EPIC!

Part Two: JoinTheEpic.com Questions From Our Readers

By | Epic Extras

Q: “Can you give me a time frame when you will start hiring?”
A: Epic Waters is already hiring for management positions. For more information contact General Manager Michael Hays at mhays@epicwatersgp.com for more information.

Q: “Can you give me the rates for Epic Waters?”
A: Yes! Please visit EpicWatersGP.com for all the information as well as exciting discounts if you purchase NOW! Visit the website today!

Q: “I’m confused. Is all of this in one building?”
A: We have two incredible projects that are a mere 75 feet apart: The Epic and EpicWaters. Epic Waters is the most incredible roof-retractable water park in America. Meanwhile, The Epic is more than a recreation center. We are calling it a Life Enrichment Center. Click here to see the current layout of the park.

Q: “My granddaughter raised money for the inclusive playground that is part of your project. Can you give us a status report?”
A: The playground “PlayGrand Adventures” will be a one-of-a-kind all inclusive playground. We continue to raise funds for it and urge you to go to PlayGrandAdventures.com for more information. At the time of this writing we are looking at a Summer 2018 grand opening. It sits on 10 acres and we expect users from all over North Texas!

Q: “Tell me it will still open as scheduled? We have family coming to town and wanted to treat them to a visit!”
A: Good News! As of early March, Lee Lewis Construction still anticipates a November opening of both facilities. Let the fun begin… Again, buy passes now and save money!

Finally, as a gift to our JoinTheEpic.com family we are proud to present some new pictures of your legacy project. See why we say “It’s Gonna Be Epic!”

Epic Waters is Giving Away a Free Party Every Night at Prairie Lights!

By | Epic Extras

The Epic and Epic Waters are taking shape at Grand Central. As you drive along Hwy 161 or Arkansas Lane, you can really start to see the large scale of this project. The framing of The Epic continues and is literally reaching new heights. And the running track, futsal and basketball courts are all taking shape. Framework is also going up for the large sloping columns along the eastern edge of the building that will support a cantilevered roof canopy. Next door, structural piers are being drilled at Epic Waters, which will support the massive weight of the water slides.

It’s hard to believe, but were only 12 months away from opening Epic Waters! And, to celebrate, American Resort Management (the operators of the water park) is giving away a free birthday party at Epic Waters EVERY NIGHT at Prairie Lights! Midway through the drive, stop at Holiday Village for a lighted walk-through forest and an indoor laser show set to music and snow. Concessions, photos with Santa, and free carnival rides are also available for all to enjoy! And, while you’re there, make sure to stop by the Epic Waters booth to sign up to win a FREE birthday party for 10 people at Epic Waters! You can also be one of the first to see (and actually sit in) one of the real slides that will be installed inside the waterpark – a really fun photo-op for you and your family or friends!

Since Prairie Lights opened on Thanksgiving night, we’ve already given away 11 parties! There’s 28 days left (closes January 1, 2017), so don’t miss your chance to sign up to win!

For more information about Prairie Lights, visit PrairieLights.org, facebook.com/PrairieLightstwitter.com/PrairieLights, or instagram.com/PrairieLights.

Hope to see you there!

Answering a Few Questions

By | Epic Extras

Can you believe we are just over a year away from the opening of Epic Waters? We are so excited to have the General Manager housing in our offices, Michael Hays. You will love him! He is making the rounds talking Epic Waters everywhere he goes! It’s hard to ever find him without a smile on his face. Again, American Resort Management is running Epic Waters and we are so pumped to have them on board.

I wanted to give you a little sneak peek that is always reserved for JoinTheEpic.com Members! In the Holiday Village at Prairie Lights (Thanksgiving through Jan. 1) we will have more exciting news on Epic Waters and an Elf told me that there would be a special photography moment! That’s all I can say, but we hope to see you at Prairie Lights.

What do you know about Futsal? The Epic will have an indoor court, so start Googling about the “fastest growing sport in the world”. We think it will bring hours and hours of fun and excitement.

Let’s answer some questions….

Craig of Bedford asks, “Someone said you can record music at The Epic. Is that right?”
Craig, that’s right! We are excited to announce that not only will The Epic have a recording studio, but also production space for film makers. It is going to be Epic (sorry)!

Jan of Grand Prairie asks, “I have bad knees. Will there be special equipment for me?”
Jan, we have thought of you! We will have water therapy opportunities in The Epic, just like at The Summit. And, almost every state-of-the-art-fitness equipment that one could have. It will be your home away from home!

And finally, Gary of Arlington asks, “Someone mentioned radio. What is up with that?”
Well Gary, you might be our next radio star. Indeed, we will have an internet based radio-station that is one of the showcases of The Epic Atrium. Your friends, family and followers could listen all over the world on their computer. Is a radio show in your future?

…..just more reasons why we love the name “Epic”! We listened to you in over 40 meetings, emails, voice messages, and public forums. It’s the building YOU asked for! It’s getting closer with each passing day!

This campaign, which will run a little over two weeks will help raise funds for PlayGrand Adventures, a DFW destination. This is really going to be special, as this “all-inclusive playgrand” will be breaking grounds on play opportunities for ALL (many of which have not been featured in the area).

How can you help? Visit PlayGrandAdventures.com and make your donation for this valued project! Also, we have qualified for North Texas Giving Day, which means we may secure some additional funds based on how much we raise. Please consider donating and pass this along to friends and others.
