Swimming holds many health benefits while being fun at the same time for people of all levels of athleticism. Lap swimming increases the heart rate without stressing the body, tones muscles and builds both strength and endurance. But did you also know swimming helps build bone mass, helps to keep the body flexible, reduces inflammation, helps to manage stress, boosts your mood and improves your sleep! Since water makes the limbs more buoyant swimming is great for individuals with arthritis, injuries and disabilities and is safe during pregnancy.

The Epic also offers an underwater bike, treadmill and elliptical and a vortex as well as many different aquatic group fitness classes.  So come meet your fitness goals and benefits here at The Epic!
