Learn the differences between knives. Get close and comfortable with learning how to hold and use your knives to get different cuts, dice, slice, julienne, etc.
Your practicing skills are the prep work for a wonderful meal of – fresh jicama salad, savory roasted chicken, roasted potatoes, crisp julienne vegetables, and French bread.
